"Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify, simplify! I say, let your affairs be as two or three, and not a hundred or a thousand; instead of a million count half a dozen, and keep your accounts on your thumb-nail." -Henry David Thoreau
My goal lately has been to simplify my life. So many things pile up around me that I never use, yet I hang onto "just in case". I get stressed out from having so much stuff to take care of, so many projects to finish, and it slowly seems to take over my life. I long for a clean and simple life.
I've started sorting through my stash of yarn and fabric and only keeping what I see myself using in the near future. If I have no vision for it, or I don't like/love it, it has to go. I can't tell you how freeing this makes me feel. And it leaves more room and time for the things I love most.
